What happens when you mix carne, vino, a baller house, a lasso and a bunch of SASSers??? The Taste of Argentina Wine MIXER!
Photos by: Tommy Tikos

Last month, the SASS crew was in full force at Copper Mountain, Colorado for USASA Nationals. The days were spent hanging out at the SASS booth, meeting new friends, shredding around, and spreading the word about the amazing adventures SASS and Sierra Nevada College offer in Bariloche, Argentina.
In true SASS fashion, an incredible ski in/out chalet located on Copper Mountain was home-base for the week. The house, pristine upon arrival, needed to be broken in SASS fashion..

Can you say baller!?
New friends and future SASSer’s were invited to enjoy an evening of delicious Argentine comida y vino at the Taste of Argentina Wine Mixer. It was the perfect event to break in the house and show everyone what SASS and Argentina are all about!!

The house was stocked with tons of SASS and SNC swag.
Local gourmet meats and wines were purchased from EAT and DRINK specialty stores in Edwards, Colorado. Luke Shelly picked up the goods and then it was on for the awesome Asado.

The perfect mix, Malbec vino and ultra rare meat!
Thanks to Harry for grilling up the succulent beef. The flavors were just like an authentic Asado in Argentina.

Harry was an awesome asador doing it up right.

Sizzling meat.

MMMM- SO MEATY!
To round out the juicy meat, bold and spicy Argentine Malbecs and Chardonays were served.

Plenty of things to cheers about.

Bottle after bottle were uncorked and fun kept flowing.
The plates full of meat seemed endless and everyone enjoyed the choice cuts.

Delicious!!
Once the food comas set in, things got a little hazy, and a "SASS-Oing" started to unravel.. What in the world is a SASSoIng? Only at a SASS party-

Brian Angelone and the rest of the East Coast crew were in the mix.
The festivies kept on going late into the night and then it was time to grill up more carne, so Luke Shelly busted out the goods, skwered the beef and created a fantastic meal for everyone that was still up and about.

Luke showed everyone how to eat Argentinean style!
